Christopher E. Smythe

President and CEO

Mr. Smythe has been active in the commercial real estate business since 1984. He has considerable experience in real estate investment, asset management, investment brokerage, syndication, and development finance. He is a graduate of University School in Cleveland and Williams College. He received his MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management. His previous work experience includes the Wells Fargo Realty Advisors (Chicago), Cragin Lang, Inc, (now Newmark) in Cleveland and the Chartwell Group, LLC in Cleveland where he was a principal for 10 years.

Mr. Smythe, a licensed broker, has successfully sold or consulted on approximately $265,000,000 of office, apartment, retail, and mixed-use properties during his career. Additionally, Mr. Smythe has also acted as a principal in several successful real estate investments. As a managing member he oversees the affairs of twelve investment partnerships comprising $95,000,000 of property. He serves as an asset consultant on several others.

In 2005 Mr. Smythe started Smythe Property Advisors, LLC, a Cleveland-based real estate investment and management concern. The company has 20 employees and currently handles select brokerage assignments and provides property management for fifteen commercial investment properties.

Mr. Smythe is the Past Board Chair and current Trustee of University School. He is past-President of the U.S. Alumni Association. He serves on the Board of Judson Services, Inc. He is a past-President and Life Trustee of the Northeast Ohio Apartment Association, and Chairman Emeritus of LifeAct. He is a member of Leadership Cleveland Class of 2011. Mr. Smythe has served on the Board of the Kirtland Country Club currently sits on the Vestry of St. Paul’s Church. He is married with three grown children and lives in Shaker Heights, Ohio.


Diana Yount

Vice President of Operations and Controller 

Diana Yount has over 35 years of experience in facilities management and operations. She oversees our daily property management, accounting, and financial reporting functions. She is well versed in Yardi Voyager. Past work experience includes AVP of Facilities and Operations for OfficeMax, VP at InkStop, Director at MaxWellness and Director of Facilities at Capital American Group. She also handled property accounting management at Syndicated Properties and Osborne Capital. Diana serves as a Board member of the Western Reserve Junior Service League and as Treasurer of the Mooreland Mansion Restoration project.
